Born from curiosity,

How It Started
CREW-B began where many great ideas are born: at school. We—three classmates from the Built Environment program at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences—were tasked with launching a business during our third-year minor, Startup Your Business in Technology (SYBIT). While others focused on bottle openers or platforms for seniors, we saw something bigger: the future of the built environment.
During internships and part-time jobs in the construction industry, we realized that cutting-edge technologies like 3D laser scanning and BIM were mainly used in new construction. But we asked ourselves: why not use these smart tools for existing buildings? That question became our starting point—and it still drives us today.

From Student Project to Full-Service Specialist
What began as a university assignment quickly evolved into a respected company in the Dutch building sector. Today, our team consists of 12 professionals with diverse backgrounds—from vocational training to academic degrees, from seasoned veterans to fresh talent. This unique mix fuels a culture where experience and innovation go hand in hand.
